THREE-YEAR-OLD GIRL FATALLY BURNED WHEN CLOTHES CATCH FIRE
New Holland, Pa. — A largely attended funeral was held at the Weaverland Mennonite Church near here March 20 as services were held for three-year-old Lynda H. Hurst, who died of burns.
The little girl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac S. Hurst of rural East Earl, apparently ventured too close to live ashes left from a trash fire. Her clothing caught fire, inflicting burns over most of her body. She died the next day at the Ephrata Hospital.
