. . .

— From Mountain Lake, Minn., the Mt. Lake Observer gives the following report of funeral services held recently for John E. Hubin, a former resident there: "The Rev. I. J. Dick accompanied by Mrs. Theo. Kintzi and daughters Leontine and Viola, drove to Westbrook last Thursday morning where they attended funeral rites that afternoon for John E. Hubin, 66, of that place who died suddenly in his sleep last Monday evening. The Rev. Dick spoke at the services, held in the Rose Hill Mennonite church. The deceased, a cousin of Mrs. Kintzi was born in Austria and came to America in 1881. He made his home together with his parents in Mountain Lake from 1885 until 1891 when they moved to Rose Hill township, and in 1937 he and his wife retired and moved to Westbrook."
