WAKARUSA, INDIANA

George Hoover, 80, of Goshen, formerly of Wakarusa, died March 16 at his home. He had been in failing health for three weeks. He moved to Goshen two years ago. He retired from farming in 1971. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; a sister, Martha Good of Moorville, Ohio; a brother, Paul Hoover of Goshen; seven daughters, four sons, a number of foster children, 35 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held. Burial was in Yellow Creek Brick Cemetery. — Vivian Brown.
