— A very distressing tragedy happened at Hesston Monday evening, when the 13 year old Freddie Holdeman, son of mrs. Walter B. Holdeman, was found hanging from a tree in their yard. it is reported that Freddie was in the habit of playing with a rope which had been hanging from the tree for a long time, and that his death was the result of an accident. Funeral services for the lad are to be held this morning at the Hesston Evangelical church. interment is to be made in the Meridian cemetery.
