Business Man of Kidron, Ohio Called by Death

Kidron, Ohio. — Death claimed one of this community's well known business men with the passing of Earl D. Hofstetter, St. on March 17. He was 56.

Funeral services were held March 20 at the Salem Mennonite Church, of which he was a long-time member. They were widely attended.

Mr. Hofstetter and his brother, Dennis Hofstetter, founded the Hofstetter Bros. Super Market here in 1929. The former underwent serous surgery last year. He recovered enough to return to the store, but due to his health the brothers later sold the business.

Earl Hofstetter was active in several other business concerns and served one year on the Dolton Local School Board. He leaves his wife; two sons, Earl D., Jr. and Richard W.; one daughter, Mrs. Stanley Douglas of Petoskey, Mich.; one brother and three sisters.
