Amish Patriarch Leaves Large Family
Goshen, Ind. — John D. Hochstetler of rural Nappanee, a member of the Old Order Amish Church who died recently at the age of 93, leaves a total of 282 descendants.
Mr. Hochstetler was born near Nappanee on Dec. 24, 1877, and lived in that community all his life. Surviving are 13 children, 90 grandchildren and 179 great-grandchildren.
