Boy Electrocuted In Farm Accident

Goshen, Ind. — Homer Hochstetler, 15-year-old farm youth of rural Bremen, died instantly of electrocution the evening of Oct. 2.

The young man, his brother Mark, age 12, and sister Paula, 10, were moving a power elevator at the Hochstetler farm when it brushed against a power line. Mark suffered minor burns, and Paula was unhurt.

Homer's father, John Hochstetler, died last March. Survivors include his mother, three brothers and the sister, all of the home.

Funeral services were held Oct. 4 at the North Main Street Mennonite Church in Nappanee. Rev. Myron Stutzman, pastor of the Bourbon Mennonite Chapel, officiated.
