● One of the stewardesses on the ill-fated DC-10 flight that crashed near Chicago recently was Katherine Hiebert-Lillie, daughter of former Newton resident Elizabeth Penner Hiebert, now of Los Angeles, Calif. An aunt, Helen (Mrs. Jacob H.) Lingenfelder, resides in North Newton. Hiebert-Lillie, 39, resided with her husband Charles in Los Angeles, the flight's destination.
