HENRY F. HIEBERT

Henry Frank Hiebert, 58, of Virgil, Ont. passed away in the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital on October 23 after a brief illness. He was born November 19, 1908 in Neu York, South Russia, and lived there until the family moved to Canada in 1924. During the years of his later youth, the family lived in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

He accepted Christ as his personal Saviour in 1932 and in 1939 he was baptized and joined the fellowship of the Leamington (Ont.) Mennonite Brethren Church. On March 13, 1938 he was united in marriage with Sara Wiebe of Leamington. God blessed them with four children, two sons and two daughters.

Mr. Hiebert's funeral was conducted in the Virgil (Ont.) Mennonite Brethren Church on October 25, with Rev. John G. Baerg in charge. He is survived by his wife, Sara; two sons Siegfried of Edmonton and Otto at home; two daughters, Margaret and Marianne, both at home; five brothers, John and Jacob of St. Catharines, Abe of Toronto, Peter of Waterloo, and Ben of Winnipeg; and six sisters, Mrs. Peter Redekopp, Mrs. John Isaac and Mrs. Nick Zalot of St. Catharines, Mrs. Frank Warkentin and Mrs. Henry Friesen of Winnipeg, and Mrs. Walter Ade of Vancouver.
