— Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Belle Hiebert, 55, of rural Walton were held Monday afternoon at the Walton Mennonite Church, Rev. C. D. Boese officiating. Mrs. Hiebert, wife of Albert Hiebert, died Oct.2 at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. Survivors include eight children and a step-daughter, as well as 32 grandchildren.

MRS. ALBERT HIEBERT

Mrs. Elizabeth Belle Hiebert, wife of Albert Hiebert of Walton, Kan. and daughter of Charles C. and Hariette Case, was born Dec. 12, 1902, at Fowler, Kan. She passed to her reward on Oct. 2 at 6:35 p. m. in the Bethel Deaconess Hospital, Newton, where she was admitted Oct. 1.

At an early age she was baptized and received into the fellowship of the Nazarene Church. In 1956 she became a member of the Walton Mennonite Church, where she remained a true member until her death.

She was married Sept. 12, 1943, at El Dorado, Kan. to Albert Hiebert, and they shared 15 years of happy married life. Mrs. Hiebert was a friend to all. Mrs. Hiebert was a friend to all. She had much joy in helping her children with their family life. It was always a joy to have the children with their family life. It was always a joy to have the children come home, and they were always welcome.

Mother became very sick Wednesday evening about 5:00 p. m. and about 6:00 p. m. was admitted to the hospital where she became unconscious and was never able to respond.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Albert; thee sons, Charles McCoy of Denver, Colo., Harvey McCoy of Walton, and Delbert McCoy of Lawrence, Kan.; five daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Grace) Moore of Valley Center, Mrs. Jake (Hazel) Schmidt of Newton, Mrs. Eugene (Doris) Hague of Walton, Mrs. Bert (Mary Ellen) of Maize, and Mrs. Ed. (Velma) Warkentine of Lawrence; one stepdaughter, Mrs. W. A. (Florence) Voth of Norwalk, Calif.; three brothers, L. C. Case of Augusta, James Case of Hutchinson, and M. M. Case of Jonesville, N. C.; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Lanam of Hutchinson; one half-sister, Mrs. Ida May Slomer of Milwaukee, Wis.,; two half-brothers, Wallace Lanam of Hutchinson and Dewey C. Lanam of Mound Valley; 32 grandchildren and a host of friends.
