Newton and Vicinity

— Funeral services were held at the Ebenfeld church near Hillsboro Sunday afternoon for David G. Hiebert, 66, who died at his home in Hillsboro Feb. 21. Marion L. Hiebert of Newton is one of the five surviving children. Mr. Hiebert had lived nine miles southeast of Hillsboro for a number of years before moving to town three years ago.
