— Funeral services took place Tuesday afternoon at the Buhler Mennonite Brethren church for David D. Hiebert, pioneer resident of the Buhler community who died at Grace hospital, Hutchinson, on Sunday afternoon after an illness of three months. Mr. Hiebert was born Oct. 13, 1862, in South Russia and came to this country with his parents in 1872, settling in Newton. He had lived at Buhler since 1908. He is survived by four sons and two daughters, and has a number of relatives in Newton. The funeral services were in charge of Revs. J. E. Hildebrand, P. R. Lange and Peter Wiens.
