David Hiebert, aged 77 years and father of Mrs. C. C. Neufeld, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, with whom he ha made his home for the past five years. He is a native of Russia. He resided in Nebraska a number of years before coming to California.
Mr. Hiebert is survived by the following children: Mrs. C. C. Neufeld of Reedley, David Hiebert, jr., of Nebraska, and John Hiebert of Canada; also by 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Mennonite Brethren Church. Following the services the body was shipped to Henderson, Nebraska, former home of the deceased, for interment.
David Hiebert, Jr., arrived from Nebraska Monday, having been called here by the serious illness of his father, but death came to his parent before he arrived. — Reedley Exponent.
