HENRY PETER HERTZLER

Henry Peter Hertzler, son of Isaac and Fannie Nafziger Hertzler, was born in Long Green, Md. on Oct. 27, 1883 and died Feb. 8, 1968 at home in Harrisonburg, Va. age 84 years, three months, and 11 days.

In 1896 he moved with his parents to pioneer in the Denbigh, Va. community. He moved to the Park View community in Harrisonburg, Va. three and one-half years ago.

On Jan), Harry, Oliver, Osie (Mrs. Ralph Ziegler), Edith (Mrs. John Wenger), and Dora (Mrs. Dan Brunk). Also surviving are 44 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Moses and O. Leroy. One son, Menno, preceded him in death.

He was a faithful member of the Mennonite church.

Services were held at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg on Feb. 9 by

Menno S. Brunk and William McGrath, and at the Warwick River Mennonite Church at Denbigh, Va. on Feb. 10 by John H. Shenk, George R. Brunk, and Truman H. Brunk. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
