FATHER OF FIVE DIES IN TRACTOR ACCIDENT NEAR ELIZABETHTOWN, PA.
Lancaster, Pa. — A farm tractor accident near Elizabethtown claimed the life of P. Miller Hershey, 38, father of five children.
Mr. Hershey was working with the tractor in a field where he had closed up a ditch when the machine overturned and pinned him underneath. The accident was witnessed by his son, David.
He was a member of the Elizabeth Mennonite Church, and funeral services were held at the Bosler's church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Stauffer, the five children, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hernley [sic Hershey].
