Amish Bishop Dies
Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Valentine A. Hershberger, 66, a bishop in the Old Order Amish church, died Dec. 13 in the Millersburg hospital where he had undergone surgery a few days earlier. Death was attributed to heart failure.
A native of Holmes County, Bishop Hershberger was ordained to the ministry in 1932.
