LITTLE GIRL FALLS INTO TUB OF BOILING WATER, FATALLY BURNED
Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services were conducted at the yellow Creek Mennonite church near here Sunday afternoon, April 10, for little Paula Sue Hershberger, 15-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hershberger of Lapaz, Ind. who sustained fatal burns in a home accident.
The little girl toppled into a tub of boiling hot water which her mother had drawn in preparation for doing the family wash. She died about three hours later in a South Bend hospital.
The family formerly lived here but moved to Lapaz where Mr. Hershberger is a teacher.
