Member of Goshen Church Dies Following One-Car Accident

Goshen, Ind. — Eli W. Hershberger, 60, died at the Goshen Hospital on Dec. 27 after suffering head injuries in a highway accident the morning of Christmas Day.

Mr. Hershberger, who lived at Millersburg, was traveling alone on Indiana 13 when his car left the highway and crashed into the ditch. His death was attributed to the injuries, although it was known that he had a heart ailment.

He was a member of the North Goshen Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted Dec. 30 by Rev. Don Augsburger.
