GRANDMOTHER HERBEL DIED AT AGE OF 83

Hillsboro, Kansas. — Funeral services for Grandmother Barbara Herbel, who lived in this community since 1898, were held Monday afternoon, Oct. 2, at the Mennonite brethren church.

Grandmother Herbel reached the advanced age of 83. Her husband, David Herbel, with whom she came from Russia in 1898 died in 1924. Three sons survive.
