ERDMAN HEPPNER

Erdman Heppner of Winkler, Manitoba was called to his heavenly home on November 21, 1971. He was born on October 2, 1914 in Horndean, Man. On January 6, 1929 he accepted Christ as his Saviour and soon followed the Lord in baptism. On October 28, 1934 he was married Ito Mary Kehler.

He felt God's call to acquire Christian training at Winkler Bible Institute, where he graduated in 1949. He was active in Sunday school teaching, missionary conferences, conducting evangelistic campaigns and young people's work. During his life he suffered many hardships, especially in health.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; four sons, three daughters, seven grandchildren and many friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Heppner, two brothers, a sister and two children.

Ministering at the funeral were Rev. G. D. Pries and Rev. John M. Schmidt. The service was led by a nephew of the deceased, Rev. John B. Wiebe of Altona, Manitoba.
