Mrs. Ray C. Hembree

HALSTEAD—Mrs. Ray C. (Lura B.) Hembree, 88, died Friday at the Halstead Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be at the Kaufman Chapel here at 2 p. m. Monday with Rev. Terry Brillhart in charge. Burial will be in the Burrton Cemetery. Calling time at the funeral home is 3 to 8 p. m. Sunday and from 9 a. m. until time of the service Monday.

Mrs. Hembree is survived by a son, Leonard H. Peckham, Wichita; a brother, Joe Hoskinson, Burrton; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was born June 30, 1889, at Burrton, and was married to Ray C. Hembree in 1929 at Larned. He preceded her in death. She lived in Hutchinson from 1922 until she moved to the nursing center in 1972.
