TINA HEINRICHS

Mrs. Tina Heinrichs was born on March 28, 1895 in Winkler, Manitoba, to Julius and Mary Dorn. She accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour at an early age, was baptized, and became a member of the Mennonite Brethren church.

On August 3, 1919, she was married to David Heinrichs at Laird, Sask. They lived with her parents on a farm near Hepburn, Sask., for about five years. Eventually finding it difficult to make a living there, they moved to Fairholme, Sask. A church was soon organized at Fairholme, and they experienced wonderful Christian fellowship under the leadership of Rev. J, Kliewer. Later they moved to B.C. where they joined the Strawberry Hill Church, now known as Kennedy Heights Church.

Mrs. Heinrichs was a devoted, praying Christian who loved the Word of God and especilly enjoyed singing Christian hymns. She also loved to go to church.

She suffered much in the latter part of her life. After spending 41 days in the Surrey Memorial Hospital, she passed quietly into the presence of her Lord on May 26 at the age of 76 years.

David and Tina had the privilege of sharing joys and sorrows for almost 52 years. The three children the Lord gave them all died in infancy. Her parents, brothers and sisters all predeceased her. She leaves to mourn her husband, nieces, nephews and many Christian friends.
