ANNA HEINRICHS

Mrs. Anna Heinrichs of Virgil, Ontario passed away on July 22 in the St. Catharines General Hospital.

Anna Heinrichs was born on August 26, 1894, in Mountain Lake, Minnesota to the Kornelius Loewens. In 1894 she came to Saskatchewan with her parents. In her early childhood she gave her heart to the Lord. She was baptized in 1908 and became a member of the Bruderfeld Mennonite Brethren Church near Dalmeny, Saskatchewan.

On November 4, 1920, she was married to John Heinrichs. In 1938 the family came to Ontario, staying for a year in Virgil and then moving to Fenwick, where they lived for 22 years. In 1961 they again made their home in Virgil where they lived until the time of her death. Funeral services were held on July 24 in the Virgil Church with Rev. J. G. Baerg and Rev. Gerhard Fast officiating.

Left to mourn her passing are ,her husband, John Heinrichs; three sons, Arnold of Fenwick, Ont., Walter of Port Alberni, B.C., Theodore of Hagersville, Ont.; two daughters, Martha (Mrs. John Thiessen) of Salem, Ont., and Selma (Mrs. William Cyopik) of Weiland, Ont.; two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Funk of Vineland, Ont., and Mrs. C. C. Heide of Virgil, Ont.; 22 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
