PIONEER IN KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA DIED AT HILLSBORO, AGE 86

Hillsboro, Kan. — Mrs. Susan Hein, who was among the pioneer settlers here and at Fairview, Okla., died at the Salem Home in Hillsboro on Jan. 28 at the age of 86. Final services and burial took place Feb. 1 at the Fairview M. B. Church, Rev. Loyal Funk officiating.

Grandmother Hein, the former Susan Kliewer, was born in South Russia and came to Marion County with her parents as a child. She married John J. Hein in 1890, and they spent most of their married life at Fairview.
