— Funeral services for Irvin E. Hein, 43, well-known farmer of the Hillsboro community who was killed almost instantly in a tractor accident, were conducted Monday afternoon at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. The accident occurred Thursday, Jan. 19. Mr. Hein attempted to turn into the driveway at the Henry Wiens farm southwest of Hillsboro when a prong on a front-mounted loader on his tractor caught in the ground, causing the vehicle to overturn. He died within a few minutes due to a crushed chest. Surviving are his wife, Fern; four children, Billy, 18, Don, 15, Sharon, 12, and James, 6; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Hein of the Hillsboro area; two brothers and one sister.
