Internationally Known Pastor Is Called Away by Death.
Friends in America as well as in Europe were grieved last week to receive the announcement of the unexpected and sudden death of Rev. Gustav Hege at Bad Salzuflen, Germany, on Wednesday, Aug. 17.
Rev. Hege hal [sic] lived in this country for several years and until his death was the Sunday School lesson commentator in Der Herold, German publication of the Herald Publishing Co.
Funeral services for Rev. Hege were held at four o’clock Sunday afternoon, Aug. 22, at the church were he served as pastor.
