HELPS BRING DOWN BODY FROM MT.
Buhler, Kan. — Mariellen Shellenberger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. S. Schellenberger, was one of a group of students from the University of Colorado at Boulder who were called to help bring down the body of a student from Delaware who had been killed in an accident on the 14,000 ft. Capitol Peak.
Miss Shellenberger has had special instruction in such undertaking through a rescue course offered at the university.
John Heckert, a student at Aspen, Colo. was killed when he struck his head on a rock during a climbing expedition. Helicopters, which had attempted the rescue, found it impossible to operate at such high altitude.
