On October 13, the writer, wife and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Samuel Auernheimer, attended the funeral of Mrs. William Hearting at the Mennonite church in Halstead. Rev. H. T. Unruh spoke on Psalm 116, 7. Interment was made in the Garden Township cemetery. Mrs. Hearting attained the age of 61 years and 15 days. She was a daughter of Joseph and Lizzie Berger. She leaves to mourn her husband, three sons, one daughter. Mrs. Hearting was a cousin of mine from my mother's side.
