Valentine J. Headings Sr., son of John and Sarah (Tice) Headings, was born in Lawrence County, Pa. on Feb. 7, 1877, and died at the Grace Hospital, Hutchinson, Kan., at 7:30 p. m., Friday, May 5, 1961.
He was married to Mary Ann Helmuth on Jan. 7, 1904. She preceded him in death on May 24, 1953.
