COUPLE DIED IN AUTO ACCIDENT
Prophetstown, Ill. — This community was saddened recently by the tragic deaths of Mr. and Mrs. John Headings in an auto accident which occurred near Joliet, Ill., on their return trip from Indiana.
Their car was struck by a large truck at a highway intersection. Mr. Headings died instantly and his wife lived for only three hours and did not regain consciousness.
Funeral services took place on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 1. Eleven children survive.
