FUNERAL HELD MARCH FOURTH FOR MOTHER KILLED IN ACCIDENT

St. Catherine, Ont. — Funeral services were held at the Mennonite church here March 4, for Mrs. Jacob Hauser who was fatally injured as she and her husband were on their way to attend a wedding in the States.

Their car skidded on the ice-sheathed highway, went out of control, and Mrs. Hauser was pinned underneath as the vehicle turned over. She suffered severe internal injuries and several bone fractures. Rushed to the hospital, she regained consciousness for a brief moment during which she was able to speak her children, but passed away a few hours later.

Rev. G. Epp was called home, from Winnipeg to conduct the funeral.

Another auto accident here resulted in the injury of Peter Harder of Campden and Hilda Martens and Annie Warkentin.
