ROLLA C. HARTZLER

Rolla Cletus Hartzler, 77, died May 13, 1986, in the farm home near Garden City, Mo., in which he was born to Charles Oliver and Lydia Yoder Hartzler on Nov. 24, 1908.

He attended Clearfork School in Cass County.

So April 15, 1933, he was married to Lela Barbara Smith.

He was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of Sycamore Grove Mennonite Church near Garden City and a singer in a Mennonite quartet.

Survivors include his wife, Lela, of the home; two sons, Bob Hartzler of Garden City and Steve Hartzler of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Beulah Garber of Lakewood, Colo., and Dorothy Newkirk of May City, Iowa; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral services were held May 16 at Sycamore Grove Mennonite Church, with interment in the Clearfork Cemetery near Garden City. Darrell Zook officiated.
