● Rural Whitewater resident Albert Harms, 83, died Apr. 11.
Funeral services were held at the Grace Hill Mennonite Church Apr. 14 with Vernon Lohrentz officiating. Harms was married in 1922 to Emma Schmidt, who preceded him in death. A son, Willis, also preceded him in death. Survivors include two brothers, Alfred of Whitewater and Elmer of Newton; three sisters, Zelda Schmidt and Edna Riesens, both of Newton, and Lydia Schmidt of Elbing; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
