Father of Three Killed While Working Under Car

Harrisonburg, Va. — Funeral services were conducted at the Harrisonburg Mennonite Church on Oct. 30 for Mark J. Harman, 32, who met death in an accident the evening of Oct. 27.

Mr. Harman, who was in charge of construction for Buildings and Structures, inc., was killed when the car he was working under slipped off cement blocks and fell on him. The family home is near Crawford.

He was a native of the Dayton community and a graduate of Turner Ashby High School.

Survivors include his wife, the former Nicholeet Miller, and three sons of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard D. Harman; one sister, Mrs. Rosalie Roberts of Harrisonburg; and three brothers, Ernest S., Ralph M. and Paul E., all of Mt. Crawford.
