— Funeral services were held in the Adventist church, Hillsboro, Kansas, on August 18 for John L. Harder, 55, who had been ill for 23 years and bedfast for 20 years before his death. He had been in a very weakened condition for about a year. He is survived by his wife, two sons and three daughters. Burial was made in the M. B. cemetery at Hillsboro.
