TWO MOUNTAIN LAKE RESIDENTS PUT TO FINAL EARTHLY RESTING PLACE

Mountain Lake, Minn. — Two well known local residents were put to their final earthly resting place last week when funeral services were held Monday, May 22, at the First Mennonite church for John B. Harder and at the same church on Tuesday, May 23, for Grandmother Anna Balzer.

Mr. Harder, who was 59 years of age, died Thursday morning, May 18, at the Bethel hospital. he is survived by his wife and four daughters.

Mrs. Balzer, who was one of the oldest, settlers in the community, dd at the age of85. She had lived in the local Home for Aged for the past two years.

Both funerals were conducted by Rev. I. J. Dick, pastor of the First Mennonite church.
