HENRY M. HANDRICH

Henry M. Handrich was born on April 8, 1869, and died June 18, 1952 at the age of 83 years, two months and 10 days.

On March 21, 1897 he was married to Elizabeth Lowenburg, who preceded him in death eleven and one-half years ago. To this union were born four sons, Harvey, Edwin, Jacob and Reuben, five daughters Katie, Mrs. Chas. Oakes, Mrs. Henry Troyer, all of Fairview; Mrs. Levi Schwartz and Mrs. Daniel Gingerich, of Turner, Michigan.

[sic line partially duplicated in original: He is survived also by one broth-dren,] 29 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren preceded him in death. He is survived also by one brother, John, and five sisters, all of Iowa.

He accepted Christ as his Saviour in his youth and was a member of the Comins Mennonite church. He loved to sing spiritual songs and sang many of them from memory. His desire was to be with his Lord and loved ones.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 22 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fairview Mennonite church. Rev, Joe Atherton and Rev. Mose Steiner officiating. Interment in the Fairview cemetery.
