Retired Pennsylvania Minister Dies at 96
Chambersburg, Pa. — Retired Mennonite minister John F. Grove, formerly of Greencastle, Pa., died Dec. 26 at the Menno Haven Nursing Home, Chambersburg, where he had resided for four years. He was 96.
He was ordained on May 15, 1917, to serve the Cedar Grove Mennonite Church, which he served for about 53 years. In his early years of ministry, he served as an evangelist throughout the Mennonite Church.
His survivors include seven children, 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
