• Dr. and Mrs. Harold Gross and family of North Newton were called to Freeman, S. D. last week due to the unexpected death of his sister, Berneice [sic Berniece] Gross which occurred Friday at the home in Freeman. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Freeman. Survivors in addition to Dr. Gross include the father, Jake G. Gross of Freeman, and a sister living at Menno, S. D.
