LANCASTER CONFERENCE SENIOR BISHOP DIES AT RICHFIELD, PA.
Richfield, Pa. — Funeral services were held at the Crossroads Mennonite Church here April 3 for William W. Graybill, senior bishop of the Lancaster Conference and a minister of the congregation for more than 53 years.
A native of Juniata County, Pa., where he was born April 1, 1880, Bishop Graybill was ordained to the ministry here in 1904 and to the office of bishop in 1906. At one time he served as moderator of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference.
