Mrs. Mary E. Graybill

Mrs. Mary E. Graybill, widow of Rev. Solomon S. Graybill, died April 5, 1934 at the home of her daughter, Ursula Shelley, in Richfield, Pa.

She was born near Richfield, Oct. 13, 1846, the daughter of Amos Winey and his wife Barbara Graybill.

In December 1863 she was married to Solomon S. Graybill, to which union were born two children, Rev. Elmer W. Graybill, and Ursula Shelley, with whom she lived since the death of her husband, over nineteen years ago. She was the last surviver [sic] of a family of 13, 3 sisters and 9 brothers, four of which were ministers of the Gospel.

She was a life long member of the Richfield Mennonite church and her fine Christian character was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Surviving are her daughter Ursula Shelley, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held in the Richfield Mennonite church, her pastor Rev. B. S. Graybill officiating, using as a basis her own selected text. — Psalm 132:14.
