HAYING ACCIDENT IN MARYLAND FATAL TO YOUNG WOMAN
Oakland, Md. — A haying accident at the Christian Graber farm near here proved fatal to the Graber's 20-year-old daughter, Fannie.
The young woman was riding on the tractor with her brother Nelson, pulling a load of hay up a steep incline, when the tractor turned over backwards. She was pinned to the front of the wagon and died of suffocation before she could be released.
