Donald Graber, youngest son of Jacob E. and Barbara Graver was born near Rome, Pleasant Township, Henry County, Iowa, on September 9, 1914. For many years Donald had been a patient sufferer from spinal trouble. Although physically handicapped, he was yet able to attend the public schools until a year ago last Christmas. Since then his condition became worse and the last week of his illness became very severe until he passed away last Sunday night, May 5, 1929, at the age of 14 years 7 months and 26 days.
Funeral services were held at one o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Green Mound church conducted by their pastor, Rev. Elmer Basinger. Interment was made in the Green Mound cemetery. — Wayland News.
