MRS. BARBARA ROTH GRABER

Barbara Roth Graber, daughter of Joseph K. Roth and Elizabeth Christner Roth, was born in Henry county, Iowa, Dec. 5, 1875, and passed away at her home Nov. 30, 1949, at 3:30 p.m. at the age of 73 years, 11 months, 25 days. She lived practically all her life in Henry county.

In 1896 she united with the Mennonite church of Wayland, Iowa. She was the last of eleven children.

Short services were held at her home at 1:30 p.m., Dec. 2, 1949, and 2:00 p.m. at the Green Mound church. Officiating clergy were Rev. Elmer Basinger assisted by Rev. E. C. Mullett and Rev. Arvell Hughes. Songs used were Rock of Ages, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, and There’ll Be No Disappointment In Heaven. She was laid to rest beside her husband and son in Green Mound cemetery.
