MISS ELIZABETH GOSSEN
Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon May 29, at the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church in Dallas, Ore. Miss Elizabeth Gossen, 75, who died at Dallas hospital May 26. She had been in ill health several years. Rev. Allan Wiebe officiated and burial was at Dallas Cemetery.
Miss Gossen was born Dec. 4, 1886, at Mt. Lake, Minn., daughter of Cornelius M. and Margaret Penner Gossen. She lived in Mt. Lake until 1913, and then at Minedoka, Idaho, till 1926, when she came to Dallas.
She had followed cannery work a number of years and was janitor of the EMB church for ten years. She had been a member of the EMB church since 1930.
Surviving are one brother, C. C. Gossen, Dallas, and four sisters, Mrs. P. C. (Katherine) Dick, Munich, N. D., Mrs. J. S. (Margaret) Harder, Mt. Lake, Mrs. Isaac (Justina) Janzen and Mrs. Isaac (Anna) Peters, Dallas.
