EMMA J. GOOD

Emma Good, wife of Chris Good, died at her home in Elida, Ohio, on Sept. 10. She had been in poor health for some years and five weeks ago she fell and suffered a broken hip.

She was born Jan. 7, 1879, to John and Madeline Heatwole and lived in Allen County all her life. She was married to Chris Good on June 20, 1896. Besides her husband, survivors include three sons, Cloyd of the home, John of Elida and Merlin of Tanksley, Ky.; five daughters, Ethel and Lesta of the home, Mrs. Velma Augsburger and Mrs. Elizabeth Good of the Elida area and Mrs. Mary Armstrong of Upper Sandusky; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Good was 81 years of age.

Funeral services were held on the following Tuesday afternoon at the Salem church of which she was a member, with Richard Martin and Andrew Brenneman officiating. The Salem male quartet and Mrs. Edith Martin sang. Burial was made in the Salem cemetery.
