Altona, Manitoba. — Funeral services were held at the Winkler Bergthaler Church June8 for five-year-old Richard A. Goertzen, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Abram Goertzen of the Carman area who was crushed under a tractor wheel.
The youth went behind the barn to get the tractor, and was then to ride while his father drove. However, as he started it up he struck a nearby implement and was thrown to the ground in front of a rear wheel.
