DIES SOON AFTER ARRIVAL IN MEXICO
Chortitz, Manitoba. — Word has been received here of the death in Mexico of Jacob Goertzen, 27, on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
The family had arrived in Mexico barely three weeks previously, their departure from Manitoba having been delayed last fall by the birth of twins in December. They have three other children.
Death was caused by diabetes which Mr. Goertzen contracted while in a C.O. camp during the war.
