text of obituary:

HENRY J. GOERTZEN OF MOUNTAIN LAKE DIES

Tuesday afternoon the remains of Henry J. Goertzen were laid to rest. The eighty-year old pioneer died at the home of his children, Mr. and Mrs. John Guenther, near Delft, on Friday morning. Mr. Goertzen had been feeling unusually well during the past several months, and Friday he was going to take a trip to Mountain Lake. While he was waiting for the car, he went to the wood pile to chop a few blocks. A few minutes later, when Mrs. Guenther looked toward the wood pile, she saw that he was lying on the ground. When help reached him, he was near death.

Mr. Goertzen is one of the early settlers in this country, and during his residence in and around Mountain Lake made many friends.
