• Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Goering, 55, wife of Walter W. Goering of Moundridge, were held May 12 at the Eden Mennonite Church. Dr. H. A. Fast and Rev. Wendell Rempel officiated. Mrs. Goering, the former Evelyn Kaufman, died May 9 after an extended illness. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Carolee) Gaeddert of McPherson; one granddaughter; six brothers and three sisters.
